Tunnel of Love – Free Valentine’s Day Printable

It has been ages since I did a printable.
Since last June actually. I had gotten a little tired of them – and everyone else was making such cute ones that I didn’t really need to.

But I couldn’t resist this one.

While browsing Anthro a few weeks ago I came across a cute Tunnel of Love card. Unfortunately it’s gone – but it was a fairly plain little card and it wanted to do something more “ticket” like.

Because really – how romantic is a ticket to the Tunnel of Love?

Pretty romantic. :)

I think it has a sweet, sentimental look – especially with the little dried roses.

It makes me think of first dates and romance and stolen kisses.

It makes Mr. F.T. think of creepy carnies and germ infested fair rides. So sweet.

The printable comes already distressed for you - all you need to do is cut it out.
(Michele did an adorable Train Party Invitation that she sells in her Etsy shop – she cut out the little ticket edges on hers with a round punch. I don’t have one of those so I just used scissors.)
It’s sized just under 8 x 10 so it will fit in the frame with a little showing around the edges.
I roughened the edges just a bit with my fingernail and framed it in this cute chippy red frame.

Click here to open the PDF of the printable. You can then save it to your computer or print it directly from your browser window.
Give it a little time – it’s kind of a largish file so it might take a little while to open.
As with all Flamingo Toes printables – this is for personal use only. Don’t redistribute them or sell them please.

I hope you like it!!

I’m linking to Sunday Scoop, Today’s Creative Blog, Met Monday, Skip to my Lou, Tutorials & Tips Tuesday, Funky Junk Interiors, and the other fabulous parties on the sidebar – make sure you check them out!

Thanksgiving Rewind. . .

There are some Thanksgiving ideas floating around here from last year that you might have missed – so I thought I’d do a little refresher!

This little Embroidered Give Thanks Art is the perfect way to write down what you’re thankful for!
The glass makes a perfect Dry Erase surface, so you can add and change the ideas out all month long.

These Thanksgiving Chalk Cloth Placemats are perfect for littler ones who can’t write out what they’re thankful for. They can draw it!!
They make great placemats for the Kids Table at Thanksgiving too – while they’re waiting for the big meal.
(These also work for impatient adults. :)

We also had some fun Printables last year -

The Get Your Pie On Printable, in three colors (there is also a cranberry version):

And a series of matching Dinner Table Buffet Labels! There are 12 labels in all!

I hope you found something you like!

If you have a Thanksgiving post/craft/recipe, I’d love for you to comment with a link!
It would be great to see what YOU are making for Thanksgiving!

Some Pinterest Love!

So my sister’s visiting this week and we’re having a blast.
Sewing, hanging out, shopping, eating ice cream, etc.
(I posted some pics on FB of our first projects – 4 (yes 4) quilts – 2 each. ;)

And because we don’t have enough going on, I introduced her to Pinterest.
Which as you know is NOT a time sucker at all. (insert sarcastic eye roll here)

I don’t know about you, but I end up pinning a few things and then BAM – I’ve scrolled through and repinned things for 20 minutes. It’s crazy. And awesome.

Are you on Pinterest? If you’re not you should check it out - it’s the coolest way to bookmark things around.

You can make categories and it shows you the images – so you can always easily find what you want!

I thought it would be fun to celebrate Pinterest with a little printable.
I know it probably won’t appeal to everyone – but I’m feeling the Pinterest love this week and thought these would look cute in a craft room.
And I know that the Charlie Sheen jokes are old – but hey.
Knocking off his ,”Duh. Winning!” comment worked so perfectly.
Plus it makes me laugh still. ;)
I’m immature like that.

So here you go – three silly little printables, just for fun.
Click on the image to open the full size version in PDF form.

If you haven’t joined up and want to check it out, let me know!
I’ll send you an invite. :)

If you are on Pinterest, let me know – I’d love to follow you!
(You can follow me too if you want!)

I’ll be back tomorrow with the June Follower Giveaway Winner announcement!
Have you entered??
