This Year’s “Stuff I’d Like To Do” Post

So as I explained last year – I don’t really do the resolution thing.

I think they’re awesome. But they stress me out.

So instead I make goals. Things I’d like to accomplish in the year.
(These are bloggy/sewing/career related. Cause yeah, I still need to work on cleaning my house better and losing more weight and actually exercising. some. day. But those are different posts.)

But I’m sitting here not-so-thrilled with myself after reading through last year’s Stuff I’d like To Do post.

Ahem.

I didn’t do so good.

Christmas Printables, Tags and more!

I have found some more cute Christmas printables to share with you!

P1010554

Have you heard of Catch My Party? They have such cute printables - and so many of them are free!

I fell in love with the Cookies and Cocoa party set – there is such a cute variety and you can use them for so many things! They have a bunch in the set that are perfect for a cocoa party or cookie exchange.
The little graphics are so sweet and I love the stripes!

I think I need to have a Hot Cocoa bar set up this weekend after we go look at Christmas lights. It’ll be super easy to do and so nice to come back to something hot to drink!

There are so many other fun things you can do with the printables in the set. I printed out the large circle designs – they are perfect for gift tags.

I think I’m going to print up some more and glitter them up. Wouldn’t these be sweet covered in red glitter?

I also printed out some of the little flags. These would be cute as little party pics – but I’m going to cut them out and glue them to my Christmas Card envelopes.
I think they’ll really dress them up!

I would totally show you that if I had my Christmas card envelopes. But I don’t.
I figure – why not wait until the last minute – it makes Christmas prep so much more exciting. :)

If you’d like to download the printables, click here. They make such easy decorations!

Retro Giving Thanks Prints

I love Thanksgiving.

Though I think it’s easy to overlook. It’s kind of wedged in between the awesomeness that is Halloween and Christmas – and it seems like gets left out of the decorating fun a lot of the time.
I mean really, how many turkeys can I put up in the house?
Not too many.

Plus – I’m  all for a reminder to slow down and Be. Thankful.
We are so so blessed. I know I need to be reminded of that sometimes.

Since it’s been eons (sort of) since I did a printable, I thought it would be fun to make some up for Thanksgiving.
These are easy peasy to put up - just print,  trim and pop in an 8 x 10 frame, and you have an instant Thanksgiving decoration – and a little reminder to be thankful.

I designed these to have a simple mid-century modern kind of feel – and I have three versions for you!

Click on the image below to open a PDF version. Then you can save and/or print from there.

This are sized at 8 1/2″ x 11″ so you’ll need to trim them down to 8″ x 10″ to fit in a frame.

As with all printables here – these are for personal use only for Flamingo Toes readers.
Please don’t redistribute these or sell the files, or sell the printed artwork. Thanks!

So I’d love to know – how much Thanksgiving decorating do you do?

Linking up at Sunday Scoop, Today’s Creative Blog, Met Monday, Tutorials & Tips Tuesday, Quilt Story, Shabby Creek Cottage, My Repurposed Life and the other fabulous parties on the party page – make sure you check them out!
