I will MAKE because She’s Worth It project

I have an amazing project and opportunity to tell you all about! I am honored to be a part of a new project called She’s Worth It!

shes worth it

What it’s all about:

She’s Worth It is an organization that works to fight against human/sex trafficking and helping women and children that have been the victims of with recovery and healing.
Sex Trafficking is something that our family has been praying about for years along with our church, so when Andrea from The Train to Crazy contacted me about getting involved in a tangible way, I was all on board!

500,000 children between the ages of 5 and 15 years are forced into the sex trade every year.

The Make it because She’s Worth It Campaign is focusing on the girls and women trapped in sexual slavery/prostitution/trafficking – though we strongly support the rescue men and boys trapped in slavery as well.

What can you do?

Go To Patterns Shop!

I am so excited to tell you about a new pattern site!

Profile Picture

Go To Patterns is a shop owned by my sweet friend Andrea from The Train to Crazy!

Andrea started Go To Patterns with her first pattern – the amazing Signature Dress. This dress is so adorable – and she has a HUGE number of options – for sleeves, lengths, appliques and more!

Andrea’s working on a women’s dress right now – and she’s giving away some hints on Instagram for how it’s going. I can’t WAIT for it to come out!!

Andrea recently expanded Go To Patterns for other designers!

The site is still new but Andrea’s adding new patterns all the time. In fact – you might recognize one of them!

Yep – you can now find my Rebecca Shoulder Bag pattern at Go To Patterns. It’s also an instant download – so as soon as you buy a pattern, you have access to the PDF! I love that.

You can also find other really sweet patterns there -

Billy Car Play Mat   Beach Bum Bermuda Shorts   Miss Mod Top

Go To Patterns is also accepting affiliates, so you if you interested, you can go to the site and click on “Become an Affiliate”!

Make sure you check back often, and follow Go To Patterns on Facebook, to see all the new patterns as they’re added.
It’s definitely inspired me!! I am going to get to work designing some new patterns!!

Crafty Swap Awesomeness

Isn’t mail just the best?

Well – not bills. Or kooky catalogs that have creepy bobble heads or sell fake dog doodoo.

But good mail – especially mail with presents in it – is just the best.

I have a new best friend named Emi - from Small Good Things. :)
You might remember Emi – I’ve featured her here a few times before!

We set up a crafty swap a few weeks ago and I can’t wait to show you what she sent me!!

Emi took a recent trip to Japan – so all of her swap items came from there. How seriously cool is that!!
Let’s check out some close-ups hmmm?

I have some really fun fabric - I love these tiny prints! I am thinking jewelry – or a little coin purse – or something else super cool. :)

Washi Tape. I had no idea how fun this stuff was!! Yep. I was a Washi tape virgin. But now I’m hooked.
(I’ll stop the whole analogy there.)

These are some wee tiny little origami papers! How cute are those little butterflies?

And more wee tiny things – these little animals and a tile sticker! Oh – can you see those animals in a little necklace? Or a fun hair clip? I can’t wait to use them.

And last we have a gorgeous Tassel book! I wish I could show you the whole thing – the photos are so beautiful!

These would even make cute earrings!

Wow right? And there are instructions for them all. That Emi crazily enough translated for me! I was just blown away. :)

So anyway – I just wanted to share our fun swap with you! If you want to see what I sent Emi, you can click here.

While you’re there – check out some of her awesome projects – she has a super fun, whimsical style and her tutorials are soooo clear!!
Here are just a few of my favorites – Her Pom Pom Bracelet, the Anthro Sol Pompom Necklace Knockoff, and this amazing Plastic Animal Pin Cushion!!

Thanks Emi!! You are a FABULOUS Pen Pal!! :)
