So a couple of weeks ago I told you I was heading out to do some glasses shopping! I am so excited to show you what I picked out!

I think they’re such a fun style – a little retro and fun. And they’re Tiffany! Hello.
(Not that I’m all about the brand you know, but seriously, these are so cute!

My old glasses felt a little outdated – I think these are a more current style – but also a style that will last me quite a while!

I went in to LensCrafters to get my eyes checked and pick out some cute frames. They were super helpful. Especially since I took forever – why is picking out glasses so hard?

They had a great selection which made it a lot easier though!

I was especially drawn to the Tiffany, Coach and Burberry lines – though they had lots of brands and styles to choose from.

So once I picked out my new babies, I was able to try out the LensCrafters AccuFit system. After wearing glasses for years – this is really much better than the old way of fitting glasses – just a little ruler and a sharpie or something.

The sales associate takes photos of you facing forward, and to the side, so you can see how the glasses fit. (No laughing at these – it’s better than the DMV photos but a bit obvious that I missed out on some photogenic genes)

Next they fit your glasses into the AccuFit measurement frame and take a closeup of you then plot out several measurements to make sure the glasses are focused and fitted correctly!

I picked out some new sunnies while I was there that I love too!

My new glasses even have a cute little case – and a little “sleeping bag” for my glasses like you get with cute shoes or purses! (Yes. I’m easily amused.)

So stinkin’ cute!

I love being able to see. Finding glasses that I love? That’s a little tougher. But it’s time to go shopping – and I’m pretty excited for this time around!
I found a new place to try – LensCrafters!

I started wearing glasses when I was in Elementary School – and when I found out I needed them I was thrilled. I thought glasses were coooooool.
(of course back then, glasses were the size of dinner plates. And no. I won’t post a photo.)

Glasses are so much cuter now – you can really make a fashion statement with them!

LensCrafters has a new technology called AccuFit. It’s a Digital Measurement System that helps you with your frame and lens choices, and helps them fit better based on your eyes and the shape of your face!
I’m all about glasses that will fit better.

The fit is 5 times more accurate – which is great since those of us in glasses know how uncomfortable it is at the end of the day when you’re in glasses that don’t fit. Ugh. No more sore ears and pinched noses please. The AccuFit Technology is complimentary too – so you don’t have to pay extra to get a great fit!

I spent some time looking around the website – they have a great Lens simulator tool that I thought was super helpful.

You answer a few questions based on how often you wear glasses and what for, and then it shows you what they recommend. I loved the question in the photo – How often do you perform work on a computer or a hobby that requires intermediate vision? Um. All. Day. :)

I also loved that you could do a little Frame Shopping online – and yeah. I’m sort of lusting after these Tiffany frames.
I can’t wait to go down and try them on.

I love frames that have a bit of a retro feel to them – but still look current and cute. They have several on the site that I can’t wait to try out!

I also was able to make my eye appt. right from the website! So super easy. I love companies that are current with technology and make things so easy.
