It’s that time of year! The time of year when I pretty much want to cozy up on my couch under a warm throw, drink a cup of tea and read a book. Ok. That’s anytime of year. But right now, I realllly need that throw!
One of the coolest things about crocheting up a throw is that you have all the warmth of it while you’re working away. It’s a win win!
I’ve been looking for a new pattern to start up and I thought I’d round up some inspiration in case you are too! I had started one and now I’m hating it and I think I’m going to take the whole thing apart. Tell my I’m not the only one who does that. So let’s see what we can find to make!
There is some serious cuteness ahead here! And of course you know I leaned towards the colorful stuff but the beauty of it is you can make these up any any color you want!
Beachcomber Blanket (this is a baby blanket pattern but I think it would be awesome as a larger throw!)
Crochet Sampler Throw (you need to create a free Lion Brand Yarn account to access but it’s super fast and easy. And FREE.)
Crochet Sampler Afghan – I’ve actually made this one up (years ago) – it’s fun to do the different squares! I added three more squares to the length though to make it proper throw size. I have very strong opinions about the minimum measurements of a throw.
Vintage Fan Ripple Blanket
