Well I’m a little late to the party but I am excited to share the new dress I sewed up for Selfish Sewing Week!
Selfish Sewing Week is a fun week full of inspiration to sew for ourselves! A bunch of bloggers have all teamed up with Indie pattern designers to make up things to wear – and encourage you to take time to sew for yourself!
I made up the Catalina Tank Dress pattern from Blank Slate Patterns – by Melissa from Melly Sews. I just love this dress! It comes in a tank and cap sleeve version and a shorter and maxi length. Super versatile. I am excited to be able to wear this for pretty much any time of year since it looks so cute with a cardigan – which is how I wear most of my dresses.
If you want to check out a more fun projects, head over to Imagine Gnats you can find links to all the projects and designers!
What have you made to sew up for yourself lately?

YES, your Catalina Tank Dress looks so VERSATILE . . . and the bright turquoise cardigan adds to your stylish look! With the drawstring tie waist it certainly looks comfy to wear everywhere, right? In addition, the pattern seems EASY and not too time-consuming. THANKS for sharing your outfit for SELFISH SEWING WEEK, sewing for yourself this time. Sarah in Minneapolis
