Ok – I have a super awesome treat for you!!
Have you heard of the new fabulous book, Mod Podge Rocks, by Amy Anderson??
I was so excited to meet Amy last month – she is funny and sweet and so talented.
So when I was offered the chance to review her new book – I jumped at the chance – and let me just tell you. I LOVE it!!
It starts out with the differences in all the different Mod Podge formulas.
Then it goes into pages of great techniques and how to use them! This is super helpful to a semi-novice Mod Podger like me!
And then we get the projects!! They are so fun – I love how creative they all are. Let me show ya a few.
We have to start with the jewelry right?
These Pressed Leaf pendants are super pretty. They use Dimensional Magic which I have been wanting to try for quite a while!
And look at this - this Bottle Cap Necklace (by the awesome Heather from Dollar Store Crafts btw) is so cute too. It would be fun to do one of these with those vintage soda bottles and labels!
This is another of my favorites – it’s a retro patio chair – all dressed up with Mod Podge. Aren’t the colors fabulous?
Ok. Aren’t you all impressed? You can pick up a copy at Barnes and Noble or Amazon – and you can check out Amy’s awesome blog, Mod Podge Rocks for tons more ideas and inspiration!!
You can also visit Plaid for projects and details about all the products!
But I have another treat for you!! They sent me TWO copies of Mod Podge Rocks – one for me and one for one of you!
And not only that – they sent a crazy fun Prize pack for you too!
In the prize pack we have:
A Copy of Mod Podge Rocks, the book
a Mod Podge Starter pack

I don’t have a favorite kind of mod podge, I’ve never used any but I really want to! I tried making my own with a recipe I found on Pinterest, but it was a total failure.
I have only tried the matte and gloss Mod Podge formulas, but I really want to play with the dimensional and outdoor varieties. I love the stuff – glue and finish all in one!
I’ve only used the regular mod podge.
My favorite project is the earring case I made out of baby wipes lids.
I have only tried the glossy and matte but I love both of them! One of my favorite projects is to customize notebooks!
I’ve only used the matte and regular mod podge. Love it…
I love the glossy and dimensional magic! My favorite project (lately) has been putting pictures on jewelry with the dimensional magic.
I’ve never used Mod Podge. This would be a GREAT way to learn how and become the newest addict.
I’ve never tried mod podge before so I don’t have a favorite yet. I hope to in the future!
I’ve only tried the original type. I didn’t realize there are so many types.
I like the original glossy the best, but have used the outdoor and the matte as well. I just always find myself back to glossy. Love it!
I like the original glossy Mod Podge, I didn’ know they had different types, would love to try them out especially the really supery glossy/puffy one.
I haven’t used it yet, so don’t have a favourite, but I am sooooo eager to try!
I have used the original Modge Podge for a long time but would love to try the new ones.
I have only ever used the original high lustre mod podge to make a pendant necklace. I think I used the wrong formula because it ended up drying tacky, so I could really use a guide to get me on the right path. :) Thanks for the chance!
I am a crocheter and am looking to try a different craft. Love crafting and love these ideas with Mod Podge….. I am going to give it a try even if I don’t win! Looks very interesting,
I’ve only tried the original mod podge so far, but would love to have a go with some of the other types… hint hint ;-)
I like Mod Podge for Outdoor the best. I’d love to refashion my shoes with it! :)
With all the crafting I do, I can’t believe I’ve never used Modge Podge, so I can’t pick a favorite. I’ve seen all the great things that can be done with it, and would love to win the prize package and try it out! Thanks for the chance to win! :-)
So far I have only tried glossy and matte and I love them both. My favorite project is the necklace display I made out of a Cheerios box, I used this tutorial. http://shealynns-faerie-shoppe.blogspot.com/2011/09/book-page-necklace-display.html
I use a lot of matte in my work, but choosing one Mod Podge is like choosing a favorite child. . . I love them all for different things! Mod Podge rocks!
