Ready from some Highlights of the Week?? Me too!
Flamingo Toes and SewinGirl - The house has basically turned into a sewing sweat shop. Quilts in progress everywhere, dresses cut out, new projects are being planned . . . it’s crazy. Occasionally meals are eaten and laundry is done – but not often. Sleep? Forget it. I am having a blast. I have another week and a half with her here and I am going to soak up every minute!! :)
Do you remember my Flamingo Trophy Art? No? Let me remind you. It’s the photo on the left. Guess what I came across at Anthro this week?
Yep. The Photo on the Right. I call it Dead Swan.
Now honestly, wouldn’t you rather have a sly silly flamingo on your wall?? Of course you would.
PS – this is a whole new line – there are three more of these in the series, all different birds. Guess what they retail at? $1500. Nope. I didn’t forget a decimal. Hello craziness.
Weird Searches!!
~ Someone landed here looking for an “excited flamingo“. Well – I’m not sure what excited flamingos look like but I can guarantee it’s more interesting than a dead swan.
~ We also had a search for “flamingo toes berlin“. Sad to say, I’ve never been to Berlin, so you won’t find me there. I have, however, been to the Blue Hole in New Mexico. Believe me, everything you’ve ever heard about it is true.
~ Last up, we had someone searching for “fun skin phone“. um. This is one of those cases when word order is important. Because a “fun phone skin” is a lot more . . . fun . . . than a phone made out of skin.
That wraps us up!! I hope you have a fabulous weekend! :)

Eew… Dead Swan sounds about right! Your version is darling and would not induce nightmares!! LOL ;)
Great features ~ Love the variety!!
Thank you for featuring my cupcakes!
Awww, thank you so much for the feature!!! Great features this week :)
Thank you so much for featuring my skirt! I am thrilled!
~Jamie
Such great features, and oh, my, what great weird searches! I bet one day you’ll publish them as an Internet weird search dictionary :)
Seriously??? Dead swan?? I’m thinking Flamingo Toes knock off for sure! And I would definitely rather have a spunky pink flamingo on my wall than a floppy dead black swan. Wondering what anthro was thinking with that one… lol!
Thanks so much for featuring my Sewing Knits Without A Serger! Your button is on my Featured On page:)
