(And yeah – I can see if you’ve done it. I’ll be watching!!! ;)

Check this out! Cassity from Remodelaholic built these great Rustic Wall Storage bins! Aren’t they great right in this entryway?
You’ll love her tutorial to – she has really clear instructions on how to build your own!

Carolyn from Homework linked up some really cute ways to wrap up gift cards!! I love this – it kind of saves you from the “I forgot I had to give you a gift  got you a gift card so you can pick what you want!!” thing.

Oooooh – how cool is this Deer Silhouette by Maggie at Hell on Heels Housewife? You have to click over and look at the closeups –
all the different wood and textures she used behind the beadboard are fabulous!!

Cuteness!!! I am in love with these little Map Page bows by Aimee at Twigg Studios!! I think even though these are out of paper I could do this!!
I’m wrapping up all my gifts from now on this way. Map Bows for everyone!!

Ready to get your Irish on? Christine from What’s Up Cupcake linked up Bailey’s Irish Cream Cupcakes! Um. Yes Please!

Here’s a cute way to do a monogram!! The girls over at Uncommon Designs made this fun Monogram Embroidery Hoop Art.
I love the fabric they used!!

I am VERY fond of Macaroons. And these little Macaroon Cookie Bird Nest’s by Jenn over at Rook No. 17 look tasty and adorable!
Don’t you want to make these up for Spring? And Easter? And maybe just because it’s Friday? Me too!

Thank you all for linking up!!! And for visiting too – I love seeing your comments on each other’s posts when I go check out the links!!

If you were featured and would like a button, you can snag one over here!

Okey dokie – Highlight Time!!

Wow – this week went by so fast! I have absolutely no family-type highlights because I think we had a fairly quiet week. Unless you want to hear about Head Colds and Panda Express and Discussions about the Awesomeness of Stevie Wonder? No. I didn’t think so.
So let’s do some blog highlights!

I have updated my About Me page. I think the last time I messed with that was . . . . oh . . . sometime in 2010. So anyway – there’s some more info and the same sad picture of me. I am working on a new one this weekend though. Fun times. Fun times.

You may have noticed that this post went up a little early this week. Unless it’s already Friday when you’re reading – at which case you don’t care. Well we’re adding something really fun as a regular feature and it starts tomorrow night! I’m So Excited!!! You’ll have to come back to see what’s up – but as a hint – it has something to do with that site we love that has all the photos and it rhymes with minterest. Hmmmm. Come back Friday night and see!

Weird Searches!!
Someone is searching for a “bouquet for a friend“. Are their friend bouquets? I had no idea. Are there enemy bouquets too? What about people-I-only-know-on-Facebook-but-pretend-are-my-friends bouquets? There’s a pretty big untapped market there.
We had someone looking for “happy and sad back to back crafts“.  Oh yeah. Been there. One week you make a really cool Silverware Starburst mirror (Happy!). The next week you make a t-shirt wreath that looks like you tied up sad old dish rags on a hanger. (sad). And no – don’t go looking for that tutorial. That wreath has been banished to the dark back corner of the hall closet. I can’t even bring myself to look at it again to take it apart. Uuuuuuggggly.
Last up we had “mason jar from tree“. That might be taking the whole “wood grain” look a bit far. “Sorry about that splinter in your apricot jam. I didn’t sand out my tree mason jars very well. But Hey! You could use it as a toothpick!”

That’s it for our Crushes!! Come back Friday night to check out our fun new exciting thing!! :)

I would totally get you a huge people-I-only-know-on-Facebook-but-pretend-are-my-friends bouquet (have to add extra flowers for the blog and twitter and pinterest associations too :P)
I would like to think that it would have lots of silk flowers that could be upcycled into headbands and jewelry!
