Ready for the Highlights of the Week?!

Awwww moment of the Week:
So this week was crazy. Coming off the Social, we were planning on meeting some friends in Vegas the last half of the week. Well, the trip fell through so we were sad – no vacation with our friends. :( Boo.
But – enter awesome hubby – Mr. F.T.!! He surprised me and is taking me away tonight for a special dinner and a night away – just the two of us!! Yayyyyy.
So think of me tonight – I’ll be eating scallops and chocolate (not together) and looking out on the view of the water in San Diego – and having alone time with the best guy ever. I love that man.

Minor Accomplishment of the Week:
I bought my first Christmas present this week – which is big news considering it’s not December. I’m a last minute gal – on so many levels. But this year I have the goal to be more organized and effecient and not leave all my shopping to the last minute. We’ll see if I can pull it off. Are you one of those awesome people who stores gifts in secret hiding spots and is done with all their Christmas Shopping in July?
I so want to be you.

Weird Searches of the Week:
(Just a reminder – these are search engine searches – like Google – that people have done and ended up at Flamingo Toes – for whatever reason. :) They are not internal blog searches)
We had TWO searches this week for the phrase “frame recipe“. I’m all about multitasking – but I don’t often cook with wood. Too many splinters in my teeth. Though the fiber is a plus.
We also had a search for “giveaway winner ashley“. Poor Ashley. She has entered so many giveaways that she can’t remember them all. So she does random internet searches hoping she’s won something somewhere. Anywhere.  Sorry Ashley. Nothing here for you this week.
We also had a search for “ridiculousness“. That’s it. Just that one word. And they ended up here. What does that tell you?

That wraps things up for the week!

Make sure you come by this weekend for Think Pink Sundays – I love seeing what you made each week!
And if you don’t have a blog, still come by – there is soooo much inspiration!!

Ahhh San Deigo, the place I’d move to IF I wanted to live by the beach. The climate is just the best IMHO. Hope you have a memorable evening, get someone to snap a pic.

I have stored early gifts; I have also forgotten where I’ve hid them. I have to keep a list.

Thanks for the great tutorials you share, looking forward to next week. Safe journey back home.

You have to have the flamingo outfit. Glad your Hubby is taking you on a date.
No wonder I never win your giveaways……because of
Ashley, just kidding. Have fun this week-end.

Have fun in San Diego!! I’ll be thinking of you and poor Ashley trying to find out if she’s won anything on the interwebs. :)

This post is one of my favorites each week. I love your blog.

Your features this week are so awesome. That flamingo costume? So stellar. The table runner? I could not believe it is the knockoff version. Looks incredible. And the cake pops! How original! I love the red accent on the back.

Also, blog searches crack me up. And ridiculousness is awesome.

Hmmm…what other “flamingo” things can I make to earn the obligatory feature from Bev? lol You’re so wonderful. And your random Google searches crack me up. I might have to start posting mine because they always make me laugh. I’ll bet people are sorely disappointed when they end up at my site after searching for “aloha Christmas”. I’m sure they weren’t looking for a tutorial on making burlap stockings…lol

    Aloha and thanks again!
