Whew!! It’s time for the Crush of the Week!!
We’re a bit delayed – I’ll explain why down in the Highlights of the Week.
But for now – let’s get right to the Crushes!!

You guys probably know by now that I think Maggie from Midwestern Sewing Girl is all things creative and awesome. Her latest project is no exception – she made this darling specimen art for a baby gift – and embroidered her name at the bottom. LOVE how sweet this is!!
Katie from Little Things Bring Smiles did a Fall Flashback post and she had some gorgeous projects last fall!! I am really in love with this pretty Felt Rosette Wreath!
She has lots of other great projects to inspire you!
This Chevron Bench that Megan from Elizabeth and Co. made is so pretty!! I love the gray and white together – and the way she distressed it is perfect!
How cute is this Fall Ruffled Burlap Runner by Staci and Just Sew Sassy? I love the colors – and the centerpiece she has is so sweet on it!
She has a gorgeous Burlap Wreath you’ll want to check out while you’re visiting too!!
Ready for some yumminess? Me too! Jamie from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom linked up these Easy No Bake Mini Cheesecake Bites!!
Aren’t they cute?? Gotta love quick, easy, and cute!!
Thanks for linking up everyone!! I was so inspired by all the creativity – as always!!

Now for some quick Highlights of the Week:
Adventure of the Week:
Yesterday there was a huge power outage that affected all of San Diego County and reached as far east as parts of Yuma and up into Orange County and parts of Riverside.
I tend to write my Crush of the Week posts on Thursday nights – so that’s why it’s delayed.
We had planned on going out to dinner – but that was out. No power anywhere. I had nothing defrosted and not much in the fridge. So we ended up defrosting Roast Beef deli meat on the side burner of the grill to make sandwiches while the kids played board games with my parents by candlelight. And we all went to bed early – because . . . it was dark – so we are all nice and rested today. :)
Weird Searches of the Week:
This week we had a search for these two words, “patience funny“. Hopefully you occasionally come across some funny here – I’m not so sure about the patience. If you find any, let me know. I could always use more.
We also had a search for “irish cheer“. I like that – it sounds fun. Makes me think of leprechauns and drinking green beer. Not that I have much experience with either of those things. I’m just assuming.
We also had the unique search for “my purse“. Someone has lost their purse in the Internet. Unfortunately there wasn’t a description – but if you see a purse while you’re searching that’s not yours – it might be hers. I wonder if she is offering a reward.
Coming up on the Blog:
I usually tell you things that are coming up here – but then I end up changing them. And then I feel guilty. So I’ll just say – there is cool stuff coming up next week. You don’t want to miss it!!
There. No guilt. :)
Make sure you come back tomorrow night for Think Pink Sundays to link up or just to visit and see all the awesomeness!

Thank you for featuring my rosette wreath and for your sweet words :) I am so happy you liked it!
Have a great weekend!
Bev, Bev…my darling girl! How wonderful to see that you featured my butterfly art today! You’ve completely made my weekend…thank you. I think you rock. And that thing about the purse…I haven’t found it, I swear. But what you wrote still has me laughing every time I think about it…;)
Have a wonderful weekend…
Glad your power is back on. How long was it off……..it’s not fun is it. We have no water when the power is off and that means no flushing.
I love the butterfly art…..so cute.
Great crushes.
Oooh lots of goodies! Thanx for sharing, I’m going to check all those blog out now to! So Exciting!
