Crush of the Week – Think Pink Features!!

Happy Friday all!!

I hope you’ve had a great week!
I know I promised a recap of my trip to the Queen Bee Market this week but I am a bit under the weather. What can I say? I’m a slacker. ;)
I promise to have it for you next week when I’m ship shape again!

I have sooooo much awesomeness to show you from Think Pink Sunday this week!!
Let’s check out my Crush(es) for the Week!

I am absolutely in LOVE with this Evening Clutch that Donatella from Inspiration & Realisation made!!
All those scruffy little roses and the bow on the side are just delicious!
I think Donatella should ditch NY and come to California and be my new BFF – and let me borrow all her awesome stylish accessories. :)

This Bench and Cushion made from chairs by Suesan at Frou-FruGal is sooo darling! I love the blue of the bench and the fabric she chose is just perfect!
She has some darling details painted on it too – you have to click over and check it out!

I love Cake. White, Yellow, Chocolate, Cherry Chip – all are welcome here in FT land. I also love anything cake-ish – like birthday cake ice cream – and now, these Cake Batter Blondies from Six Sister’s Stuff are going to have to go on the list. I can’t wait to try them out!! Don’t they look cute and yummy all at the same time?

My sweet friend Sheila from The Adventures of Ordy & Joon had her Engagement Party last weekend and you have to go check out the post!!
The party decorations were so sweet and rustic! I loved all the burlap and mason jars – and she did everything herself!!

I spotted these darling Anthro Knockoff Earrings by Rebecca at My Girlish Whims last week and I’m thrilled that she linked up here!!
She does a fabulous job with her tutorial and the earrings are sooo cute!

This Twine Rope Bowl by Carolyn over at Carolyn’s Homework is so sweet and so easy to do!! I love that she transformed a galvanized bucket into something stylish and pretty!

Aren’t they great features? I think so too. :)

If you were featured and would like a button, they’re over on the sidebar. Grab one and show it off! :)

Now for our Friday Highlights of the Week!!!

Most Embarrassing Moment of the Week:
It should tell you how much I love you guys that I even share this stuff with you. ;) On Sunday after church I stopped in the restroom to . .  well. . you know. Along with everyone and their brother. (or sister in this case.) What is it about church that makes everyone need to go? All that coffee before I guess. Anywaaaaay – after washing my hands I did the girl-primp thing in the mirror. Only when I went to straighten my top, I noticed something white down on the side at my hip. I look a little closer in the mirror. Huh. That’s a tag.
Yes. I wore my shirt inside-out to church.
Now. In my defense, I had a sweater over the top, though it was a little shorter. And the top was all smocked at the neck and looked the same inside as outside. Except for all those pesky seams. And yes, I realize I’m rationalizing my nerdiness here. Pleeeease tell me I’m not the only goober to have done something like this?? Pretty please? :)

Weird Searches on the Blog:
It’s a quiet week out there. Other than the often-searched “Are Tapeworms Good For you”. That shows up every week but I don’t mention it because: 1) there are only so many funny tapeworm comments out there, and 2) I’m more than slightly disturbed by how many people are searching for the answer to that question.

My Pinterest Dinner:
Goodness, do I love that site. I think I must be a visual person because I could scroll through there for hours. Oh wait, I do. :) So here’s my Imaginary Dinner Menu from Pinned Yumminess:
We’ll start off with Bloomin Cheesy Onion Bread, then we’ll have Bacon Chicken Alfredo Pasta, drink Blackberry Mint Lemonade, and we’ll finish the whole thing off with Chocolate Cupcakes with Flaming Strawberries.
You’re all invited.

Bloomin' Cheesy Onion Bread Bacon Chicken Alfredo Pasta Blackberry Mint Lemonade Chocolate Cupcakes with Flaming Strawberries!

Side note: In going through my Recipe Pins I noticed a slight theme in which 90% of my pins there are made up of sugar/carbs. Not a lot of salads in there. Ok. There are NO salads in there.
Obviously I have a problem. :)

Thanks for stopping by!!

I’m looking forward to seeing all your creations this week at Think Pink Sundays!!

I wore my shirt inside out to work not too long ago. I didn’ t realize it until I got home.
My husband even saw me get dressed and noticed it, but didn’t say anything. Not maliciously, he just thought it was “that kind of shirt”.
I felt ridiculous even though no one else saw it.

  • I am really loving every one of these features, Bev!! Lots of pinning fun in my future. :) I hope you’re feeing better!
So, my hubs wore his shirt wrong side out… AND backwards. lol! He didn’t have a CLUE!

I’m off to check out those flamingo strawberries, though look a bit more like flaming strawberries. lol! ;)

I wear my shirt inside out to work at least once a month. This probably means I should pay more attention to what I’m doing in the mornings, but honestly, if I’m not missing the shirt (or pants), I’m going to count the day as a win!

Thank you for featuring my chair bench.

I have to say, wearing your shirt inside out isn’t as bad as the time I forgot to wear a bra and didn’t notice until late afternoon! I was working in the same office as my husband at the time. I went over to him and told him to feel my back and see if he noticed what was missing. He thought I was playing a fun game with him! lol.

  • thanks so much for featuring my earrings! of course I would link up :)

OK, I did the inside out shirt deal. Yep, even went on sales calls and nobody told me. It wasn’t until I got home that night that I realized it. Some co-workers I had!
