The Crush of the Week is something a little different this week. If you haven’t seen it yet, I’d like to introduce you to the fun blog, Copycat Crafts!
Copycat Crafts is a new blog but it is rapidly growing into a fantastic resource of all things knockoff.
(And you know we love us some knockoffs around here.)
Wendy, the genius behind this fun site, scours the web for great knockoffs and posts them with a photo and link. Let me show you a few – these links take you to the blogs that created the fantastic items.
I’m absolutely in love with this Anthro Inspired Ruffled Bedspread by Made by Lex. Gorgeous!!
These Land of Nod inspired floor cushions by Living with Punks are so cute. I’d like to make one for me. But maybe bigger. ;)
But one of my all time favorite things over at Copycat Crafts is a knockoff by Wendy herself.
I’m so going to make this Anthro Inspired Reindeer.
Yep. This is her KNOCKOFF. Wayyyyy cuter than Anthro’s original. I’m scheming now how I can even get that same reindeer from Hobby Lobby when the nearest one is one state away.
She has a fantastic tutorial for it – you have to check it out.
She also takes submissions – so if you have a knockoff project – send it over to her!!
I highly suggest following along – there is always something new going up over there! And if you look around you’ll see some Flamingo Toes projects. Yep. I’ve totally spammed her and she’s been sweet enough to post a couple. ;)
