In case you are new here – every Friday (ok. Most Fridays) I choose a Crush of the Week - a blog that I love and want to show off and share with you! Hopefully you will find some inspiration and maybe a new place to hang out. So let’s get started. . .It’s time for the Crush of the Week!
At this time of year I start doing the “Edible Gift” planning. You know, the yummy munchie things you take to neighbors, friends, teachers, co-workers. Well I decided to head over to one of my favorite sources of cooking inspiration. . .
Have you been to Rook No. 17 yet? It’s kind of like going to the grocery store hungry. You pretty much want everything in sight.

First up are these Dark Truffle Chocolates with Fennel Pollen.
I don’t know if I’ll buy the Fennel Pollen before Christmas – but I’d like to try it sometime. She does a great post describing the flavor and where to get it.
But even without the pollen, these truffles are the perfect Christmas gift! If they make it out of the house that is. It might end up being a case of, “One for you, two for me.”
Next up we have Brownie Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies.
What can I say? A brownie. Inside a cookie. um. Yes please.
Last up is this Brown Butter Pecan Biscotti.
I will pretty much snarf anything made with Brown Butter. It’s so yummy and nutty. Dip it in chocolate too and I’m in heaven!! This is a great post because not only does she have this yummy recipe but she has a great tutorial for a mug and plate set. Really cute.
I can honestly say I took the longest time writing this post. Want to know why?? Check out some of the recipes that I almost featured: Pumpkin Butter, Eclairs, Banana Bread Biscotti, Caramel Apples, and Oreo Truffles on a Stick. I had a terrible time deciding. That doesn’t even touch on the Main Courses, Apps, Soups, and more that are waiting for you there.
So are you starving now? Me too.
