It was a lovely weekend, I hope yours was too. My Dad, Mom, and sister drove out for the weekend and surpised me for my birthday. Aren’t they the greatest? We had a great time hanging out, sewing, and eating. :)
I was browsing Toile ( a great blog for photos and fun) last week and she had some great shots she took from a snail’s perspective. She mentioned that Michelle Elisabeth from the sweet blog, Thymely Thoughts was having a fun challenge, to take photos from a new perspective, that of a snail. So after my family left this afternoon, Mr. F.T. and I set off for a walk around the neighborhood. I grabbed a towel like Michelle suggested (so you can lie on your tummy).
My neighbors think I’m a kook, I think.
Here’s what we found. . .
Hmmm. Are ducklings vegetarians?
It was fun to look at things from a different perspective. Though I will say, I came home covered in muddy damp spots because my towel wasn’t long enough and a rash on my chin from laying in the grass. Did I mention my neighbors think I’m a kook?
These are so great! I love the pine cone, and of course the ducklings. Did you use zoom or did they let you get that close to them? So adorable!!
Oh, and my neighbors thought I was totally crazy too, don’t worry.
Elizabeth – they came that close. :) We bribed them with bread.

So lovely!! The pinecone shot is gorgeous, with beautiful soft colours. And the ducklings, well those are just ridiculously cute! I love how the back two look like they’re taller than you :)

What pretty photos! Ahhh, I love Spring! I can’t get enough of those baby ducks. They are just too cute :) Our last project in my photography class was to take pictures from an unusual perspective. Makes you stop and think!

These are wonderful! I love the ducklings as well as the beautiful flowers and pine-cone. Yes I too must have looked sort of silly crawling around in the mud but it was so much fun! I can’t wait for the next challenge.
